JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mechanical Design will lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a material planning. In this role, you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Provide leadership in developing, planning and implementing the Master Schedule
Act on all matters pertaining to material needs to assure assigned demonstrator engine programs meet schedules
Lead activities that encompass detailed manufacturing and sourcing plans
Follow up on RFQs sent to outside manufacturing and coordinate results with Company Sourcing
Build REQs to order standard hardware
Coordinate with shipping to ensure products are received in Engineering stores
Work with Company sourcing and engineering to set up new manufacturing shops
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from and accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing management or planning position
At least 3 additional years of experience in Inventory Management and Warehouse Modules, Materials, or Production Planning and Control Desired
