It requires a diverse skill set since the applicant will be required to conduct all electrical and mechanical repairs, repair smelters, service emission control equipment, maintain plant facilities, and support new equipment installations. The ideal applicant possesses expertise in industrial electrical wiring, motor controls, PLC troubleshooting, combustion controls, mechanical drives, building systems, pneumatics, and repair welding.
